MacIntosh Books & Paper will host Keith Trowbridge and Barbara Hill Freeman, authors of “Time to Share: The Adventurous Life of The Father of Timeshare,” for an interview-style program at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 at the bookshop, 3278 Palm Ridge Rd. Trowbridge and Freeman will be signing copies of the new book during the event, as well.
Trowbridge is widely known in Southwest Florida as the man who invented vacation ownership or timesharing and developed resorts that thrive today. He is a founder of the Sanibel Bicycle Club and Sanibel Captiva Kiwanis Club, as well as the community foundation. Trowbridge was chair of the committee that selected the Sanibel Causeway design and is past president of the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber
